Topmount installation allows for the sink to be mounted from above the benchtop and is inserted into the hole cut-out for the sink. The rim sits on the benchtop holding it in place. This is the easiest type of installation.

Undermount installation allows for the sink to be mounted to the benchtop from underneath. The inner bowl is vertically flush with the sides of the benchtop cut-out. This type of installation optimises bench space and makes for easy cleaning.

Flushmount installation is where the sink is mounted to the sides of the benchtop cut-out. The sink is horizontally flush and level with the benchtop surface. Measurements for the cut-out must be made from the physical sink received for the project.
