Frequently Asked Questions

Bathrooms are damp environments, creating ideal conditions for bacteria to grow. Our towel rails have an electric heating element that will keep your towels warm, fresh and dry for longer creating a more hygienic environment in your bathroom.

The towel rail MUST be installed as prescribed by a licensed tradesperson in accordance with local wiring rules and regulations, including the regulations covering installation of applied and accessories in ‘wet areas’ such as bathrooms, showers and laundries.

It is recommended that you regularly clean the heated towel rail with mild soapy water using a microfibre cloth. Do not use harsh detergents, bleach, cream cleansers or citrus based cleaners as these substances are abrasive and will damage the surface.

Each towel rail is carefully crafted from high quality 304 stainless steel for long-lasting durability.

Fienza heated towel rails are designed for heating and warming towels and fabrics only. The dry electric heating element in our towel rails provides the ideal temperature for warm, dry towels while ensuring a low surface temperature for safety.

All rails distribute 35°C to 60°C surface temperature, warming towels quickly and efficiently.

The heated towel rail will start to get warm in as little as 5 minutes of operation. The temperature increases to 45°C -50°C after 20 minutes of operation. The surface temperature remains a stable 50°C after 45 minutes of operation.

Bathrooms are zoned according to Australian Standards. All domestic installation must comply with guidelines based on zonal requirements. It is always recommended to consult a licensed electrician for advice on installation for your bathroom.

Electrical fixtures in bathrooms are certified using an IP (Ingress Protection) rating. All Fienza heated towel rails have an IP55 rating. This provides protection against solid and liquid particles that could be harmful to normal operation.

We offer up to 15 years warranty on our heated towel rails for peace of mind.

Structure Only: 15 years for residential uses and 7 years for commercial uses.
Electrical: 5 years for residential uses and 2 years for commercial uses.

Wiring Positions

Concealed wiring installation has no visible cables as it is hard-wired through the wall. The hidden cabling is not only more aesthetic, but enables the towel rail to be installed safely next to wet areas. The wiring position is available at the top right or bottom left mounting points. This type of installation must be performed by a licensed electrician.
Available in: Kaya, Koko, Lillian, Isabella

Exposed wiring installation has a visible 1.5m cable that plugs into a standard household power outlet. The wiring positions are available at any of the 4 mounting points. This type of installation is ideal for retrofit applications as the rail can be mounted directly to the existing wall and plugged in to a nearby power point.
